Pat Hill has been given a lovely little collection of carefully packed medals plus some old photos referring to a man called Len Le Blond who was in the Camberwell Wheelers in the 1930s.
Some of the medals are solid silver. One of our members up in Lincs was given them but we dont know who had them before that.
If anyone has any information on Len Le Blond or the Club would they contact Pat.
At the committee meeting on 9 January Ian Turner, Southborough and District Wheelers, was co-opted to the committee to fill a vacancy. We are grateful to Ian for offering his services. His details are on the contacts page.
These are the regular lunch venues of this large group of people (sometimes we have 60+ out) from all over Kent, SE London & Sussex, some of whom meet earlier in the day in their own areas to have a joint ride to our pubs to enjoy a good feed & a good laugh. Everybody welcome, any age, any Club or no Club, you don’t even have to ride a bike. Come by bus or car or walk. Arrive between 12-2.30pm & follow the noise. We are now in our 30th year so we must be doing something right!!
